Which I love. But as a coaching staff, you need to ask your guys to do what they do best and don’t put them in position to fail.

He’s the type of guy you bring in to rush on an obvious pass down. You don’t have him start at LB and ask him to dissect plays or run with WRs and RBs.

He holds the ball way too long. 17 seconds, 3 timeouts and he’s just sitting there, holding, and holding, and holding.
Trickery doesn’t work because USC is loading up the box and playing tight to the LOS. Then you have the DL slanting and stunting.
Gimmick plays won’t work against that kind of front. They sense it’s a run, they will fly down the hill and collapse the play before it has a chance.
