Without knowing the true details, I’m assuming he didn’t disrespect any coach. What is he supposed to do if he knows his son is biting off more then he can chew trying to negotiate a NIL deal?
At the end of the day, the only opinion that matters is MF. If MF has no issue, I have no issue.
Zero issue with Pops helping negotiate terms on behalf of his son who needs to establish his own line of credit eventually.
There’s also a chance Pops knows the son isn’t the best when it comes to school so don’t bring him to a school where education matters.
Father first, coach second.
Don’t cringe. Own it. Be proud and if people want to try to bring you down to their level, tell them to piss off.
I didn’t go to ND and I’m doing just fine. My path was rough but I survived. But I made a personal choice to survive. I work with others who went to ND and other “haughty” schools...
Hard to say without knowing the details. Could just as easily be playing OU. End of the day though, I think ND is fine without him.
Is what it is. (Still need a Fireside Chat w/Reaper thread.)
100% this
If we don’t get the QB position right, it doesn’t matter who is at safety. Between this and the RB situation, neither will win or lose a title.
Trying to think off the top of my head but the 2024 NFL Draft class at QB is weaker than this years. This year he’d be battling Stroud, Young, and Levis. Maybe Anthony Richardson? Next year is Caleb Williams, maybe Jayden Daniels?
I hear you. Not easy having to battle Nick Saban and Alabama, Phil Knight and Nike, or the allure of Los Angeles. He held his own and will only get better. If this is the bottom, I’ll take it.
