Plenty. With few exceptions, programs simply don’t win NCs with the talent level we are currently recruiting. We’ve landed a couple of highly ranked skill position prospects and that’s great, but it obscures the fact the we are backsliding in other areas and are not showing overall improvement...

Agree. I can see is losing at least one of James, Merriwhether, and Colzie, and perhaps all three. It’s the new normal, I have no issue with it.

Looked good going through his reads, I think he could grow into Jack Coan with more athleticism. Still, I think we need to look to the portal in the off-season, way too much skill talent not to put a proven QB on the roster. But, feel much better about Angeli if we have to trot him out this...

I agree. The only way to change it is to win. I give Freeman credit for recruiting at the same level as Kelly thus far, but he has to win with the talent on the roster as constructed, and get them drafted, if he is going to earn the trust of true difference maker prospects. It’s boring to say...

The only solution at this point is winning. ND doesn’t have the hype-culture to pull in top talent without 11-12 wins per year (a la USC). If Freeman wins, he’ll be a top recruiter and the program will take the next step. If he has two more years like last year, he’ll be gone. No sense giving...

Lol. I think we’ve seen enough of these to have a good sense of where this will end up. No stress, he almost certainly ain’t coming. I’ll check back after the OSU game to see where he stands, maybe we change his mind.
