'24 NE TE Carter Nelson (Nebraska Verbal)

Whether he stays or goes is far more dependent on if he can score another QB in the portal and likely has nothing to do with a 17 year-old TE. Unfortunately, the current offense is not going to attract a difference maker at QB. IMO, Parker needs to show enough over the next 4 games to entice a...

Sam Hartman is definitely part of the problem at this point. Poor decision making, inaccurate, terrible body language.

'24 IL WR Cam Williams (Notre Dame Signee)

I think I agree. But, his competition is not great.

'24 NC WR Micah Gilbert (Notre Dame Signee)

Similar style to Michael Floyd on HS tape. Nice surprise!

    2024 Visitors Thread

I’m way more concerned about the lack of elite 2025 talent. Sure, there is a long way to go, but there are only 1 or 2 Top 50 dudes on that list. I just keep waiting for recruiting to turn the corner and it just keeps not turning.

I’m over it, so I won’t be visiting.

Where does Louisville 2023 rank in embarrassing losses?

Not at all embarrassing. Tough environment against a good team, and we were not well prepared. Happens once every season to nearly every team. Honestly, I think people just let their hopes get a bit too high. We still lack elite WRs, DEs, S, LBs, and the O line is developmental. That’s just...

State of the Recruiting Class - 2024

You were either watching the wrong team, or you are hallucinating. ND played and coached OSU dead even, and was the better team for all but 2 drives against Duke. I’ll give you Louisville. But seriously, this type of pearl clutching just needs to stop. Let the whole season play out — if 17 year...

Louisville Post game thread (should be fun)

No, they haven’t quit. They have regressed to the mean, though. I do think Freeman needs to change some things, or at least show he is willing to — he’s way, way to soft on his players from what I can see.

Louisville Post game thread (should be fun)

It’s inexplicable that he isn’t featured more. I don’t see a real offensive philosophy in this team. But, when you have a subpar line I suppose it tough to form a real identity. Next week will really show us a lot about Freeman and Parker.

DJ Brown is absolutely the worst tackler on this team. He needs to graduate and go. I don’t give a shit if he is always in the right spot. He is ineffective. Sit him down.

Gerad Parker officially makes me nervous. This is just piss poor.

2023 Week Six Prediction Poll: (10) Notre Dame @ (25) Louisville

Last week was the week to catch ND on a downer. This week Irish start fast and win big, 40-17.

    ND- OSU post game thread

There are no moral victories, but this program has significantly changed for the better under Freeman, and this game proves it. ND believed they were OSUs equal, and then went out and prove it with no hesitation. This program has the right stuff, all it needs is time, and a bit of luck. There...

What loss is worse -2005 USC or 2023 Ohio State?

2005 and it ain’t close. That USC team was the evil empire and an absolute juggernaut. This OSU team is our equal, but not better. It was a brutal loss, but this program’s identity and trajectory are solid — Marcus has essentially closed the gap with all teams but Georgia in 18 games as HC...

    Sept 23 | Ohio State

I think the ND secondary is the best OSU will face all year. That said, OSU still has the advantage there, imo. They will get open, especially if we can’t produce pressure. I am thankful that we have a pretty complex blitz scheme to throw as McCord.

    Sept 23 | Ohio State

Yep. He did the same against NC State and was sacked 4 times with 2 fumbles. I suspect OSU will resemble something closer to NCSU.

    Sept 23 | Ohio State

Right now, my only concern is whether we can get open efficiently in the pass game. If not, it’ll be a struggle. Sam won’t have the luxury of sitting back, perusing the field, then throwing it away next week. Holding the ball will lead to sacks.
