This, exactly. Outside of a no-brainer, grand-slam hire, OSU doesn’t actually need to find a replacement coach. Day’s tenure has coincided with Michigan’s ascendency — bad luck for Day. But, the OSU administration aren’t idiots, they know they have a guy that can recruit and win. Plus, they...

'22 MI LB Nolan Ziegler (Notre Dame Signee)

This is the best outcome for all parties. It sounds as though Nolan needs to be closer to his support system to function at this point in his life. The ND program is moving to a place where players who can’t be 100% present and engaged will be left behind. Unfortunately, college football is...

100% right. Beau likely did him a favor, this forum was not good place for Reaper. Honestly, anybody who willingly engages in drunken tirades at the behest of message board strangers probably needs help.

    '25 NM LB Mason Posa

Could be an elite Vyper prospect, but if he can stay in the middle he might be devastating. Very curious to see Senior film.

Both fair questions. I think it a wash ultimately, but if you really believe in a kid you gotta do it. I haven’t seen any kids that have really paid off, but am open to being persuaded.

State of the Recruiting Class - 2024

A little embarrassed. But, I get it.

    Chicago Bears address

100% agree. He is what he is. No chance to win at a high level with Fields. But, no way can we get a 1st rounder — maybe a 3rd, more likely a 4th. The whole league knows what he is and how to neutralize him.

From the coach who let Joe Burrow walk out the door.

    Chansi Stuckey - WR Coach

This. If he was worth keeping, they would have kept him. Not a single WR developed while he was here.

'20 PA WR Julian Fleming (Ohio State Verbal)

Would love to know, but have been sifting through the speech-making instead. I’ll try to report back when I get to the end, if there is still any air in the room.

‘21 AL QB Riley Leonard (Duke Transfer - Notre Dame Verbal)

Hoping this really is a done deal because Ohio St. will be looking for a new QB with McCord in the portal. I could see Pratt at OSU.

    Bowl Projections 2023

I honestly wouldn’t blame Sam if he opted out of this one — waste of his time. It’d actually be nice to see 4 quarters of Angeli.

    Bowl Projections 2023

Yea, because parties to signed agreements never sue each other. GTFO. 😂

    Bowl Projections 2023

Most projections I am seeing still have ND v. LSU in ReliaQuest. One or two have Alabama in the playoff and Texas out — which would be criminal and should result in a lawsuit, imo. Honestly, if I am Texas or FSU and I am not in the playoff, it’s litigation time.

'23 CA WR Rico Flores (UCLA Transfer)

    A bit mean spirited.

'23 CA WR Rico Flores (UCLA Transfer)

Wishful think perhaps, but ND may need to clear out some of these middling talents to land an elite WR coach. None who has left will be an impact player on a Top 5 team. Sucks for the bowl game, but a net gain long term.

‘21 AL QB Riley Leonard (Duke Transfer - Notre Dame Verbal)

I don’t honestly don’t think there is a better way. It’s so much easier to transfer today, programs would be foolish not to consider taking a transfer QB if they are not 100% sure of their guy. The wrong guy under center can make a 10-2 season a 5-7 season real quick. My two cents, I would...

'23 CA WR Rico Flores (UCLA Transfer)

Good take. 👍 I have no inside info, but isn’t also possible that MF discovered that these guys, including Flores, we not happy with their development and wanted to leave, thus prompting his firing of CS? My point is that we don’t have the facts, but I doubt this is a case where MF simply...
