Personally, I hope this is the case. I'm not anti-Minchey, but I just think we'd be better served with CJ at the helm if the decision is in fact close. Obviously, I'll be rooting for whoever gets the starting job. I just think there is less turmoil and more upside if its Carr.

I’m all for the Carr era at ND I’m tired of playing it safe with mid-QB’s. Time to let a guy with genuine QB talent have the reigns. A QB who can make all the throws, and has good enough legs to get out of trouble. Going to be fun to watch CJ shine
