If blitzing LBer blows up OSUs back into Howard's lap, instead of getting stood up at the LOS, Howard probably underthrows that ball, likely into Gray's hands. That's what happened against Penn State - sneed forced a bad throw and gray was there to pick it off. It's a team effort.

Defensive bed wetting has more to do with missing tackles and mental mistakes in red zone than anything else. Every set of downs on every drive a missed tackle costs them 3 or 4 yards and they can't get off the field.

Especially true for Downs. You can't have that little prick making plays in our backfield. He diagnoses plays quick and he's a menace. Zone read will get him thinking and delay his decision making if they run it well.
