If the interior DL can’t hold up, it’s going to have a trickle down effect. The OL will be able to easily get to the linebackers and wash them out. Traore will almost never get 1v1 opportunities because there’s no one else on the DL that scares you.

I remember the last time the staff valued player’s feelings over making the roster better. It resulted in a Tyler Buchner and Drew Pyne QB battle. The defense is going to give up 200 ypg on the ground, but at least everyone will be happy.

Overpay for 2 DTs. Unless injuries happen, that will essentially guarantee them a deep playoff run and they will make all that money back and then some. There is not one DT on the roster who would have the right to get pissed off if they overpaid for proven talent.

That player has been taking in person classes literally their entire life, up until maybe a year or two ago. It can’t be that big of a change.

Notre Dame has more money than they know what to do with. Sitting here and acting like a DT is too expensive is silly. They have that money in the couch cushions.

I don’t really see why current players would leave. They’re a loaded team and are paid very handsomely. They are quite literally 2 DTs away from having probably top 3 odds to win the natty next year. Idk the specific reasons why they are having issues. They are so damn close, but of course...

ND retained nothing at DT, so I’m not sure what that article is gonna say. That’s essentially the only thing they’ve needed to grab in the portal, and they’ve failed miserably.
