Lol at everyone. There has been one player in the last 2+ decades to play both ways in CFB. And he did it against mid competition. You can't take the beating week in and week out for 14-16 games on both sides of the ball. Most guys having difficulty staying healthy with 30-60 reps in a game...

'24 NC WR Micah Gilbert (Notre Dame Signee)

Certainty of a good season: 1. Greathouse 2. Fields 3. Pauling 4. Faison 5. Gilbert 6. Burress Potential for surprise: reverse order of first list + anyone not mentioned (K.K., Saldate, Williams, Scrap) If anyone besides Greathouse, Fields, Pauling or Faison make a "big" contribution, this...

    Who's Next? - 2026 Edition

Who GAF about final rankings if this is how Freeman & Co are going to recruit? We could be anywhere in the top 10 and we'll all be very happy because this kind of recruiting is bringing in very high level athletes where the average player rating is above 92. That is ELITE. If successive...

WTF?!?! I have some late meetings, eat dinner with the fam and play and come back to this. Been watching recruiting for around 15-18 years and I don't recall anything even close to this. Go back to end of April, early May and remember the recruiting thoughts at that time? I'm not going to...

I was going to say, as long as they aren't used for rankings they offer 'rep' value for skills guys and QBs making quick reads. Actual 11v11 football film and testing should be the 90%+ drivers of the rankings.

Thanks for that. He was SO. DAMN. GOOD. His focus and ball-tracking was phenomenal.

‘26 CT OT Charlie Thom (Notre Dame Verbal)

I read that numbers comparison to other elite OTs and it's really incredible how well his numbers profile him as an elite prospect. Let him work with Landow a couple years and see if he isn't taking one of our tackle spots for 2 years. This OL room is going to be incredible

I saw that and thought the same thing. I wonder if Scrap is that multi-sport athlete who was perpetually overworked/underfed because he didn't have great S&C/nutrition resources or didn't have time. Hoping he can be a sleeper as I thought he looked very sudden in the spring clips.

'25 NC S JaDon Blair (Notre Dame Signee)

If he follows his dad's blueprint, he'll be LB/TE and potentially a DE/monster TE by the end of it.

'26 TX WR Kaydon Finley (Notre Dame Verbal)

K Finley is amongst the most important targets for the class. Really he hope he can see the vision because this year should be a big jump in passing production.

    USC recruiting and everything else

You being scared is funny to me as an ND football fan. If the man wants to throw his money around to try and buy championships, we've seen the blueprint for the last decade: Miami, TAMU, Oregon Do you believe he has more money than the other 'largest athletic donors' at major schools? or more...

@SeekNDestroy - this has got to be my funniest downvote ever and I've got to know why because my brain can't tease it out. Downvote because I should eat more burgers? Downvote because I shamed the average American diet? Downvote because I'm small? Truth be told, I wish I could carry extra...

    Who's Next? - 2026 Edition

The problem I have with Driskell is that he shared/perpetuated the idea that the OL room was (paraphrasing, someone correct me: divided/in shambles/failing) under Rudolph because some of the players leaving or the parents of players leaving were feeding bad info because they were disappointed...

How do they do updates? Weekly? Quarterly? Mid-season? They better have some mechanism for rectifying those ratings. Bryce and KVA are about to go HAM.

‘23 VA DL Armel Mukam (Notre Dame Signee)

Nah, I'm good. ;) I think most Americans eat enough for 3 of me. I've got a smaller frame and keep bf% low by exercise, healthy eating, etc. But even if I was trying to pack on as much muscle as possible to armor-up for football, I'd be max 175. These guys who can carry 300+ and be...

‘26 MD CB Khary Adams (Notre Dame Verbal)

The secondary recruiting over the past 2-3 years is a level I've not witnessed. We used to beg for a top 20 CB or S in a class. 24 - Tae Johnson, Leonard Moore, Karson Hobbs (Urlacher bolted due to the logjam) All 3 are starters or competing for major snaps in the fall 25 - J. Blair, Thomas...

‘23 VA DL Armel Mukam (Notre Dame Signee)

Spring roster had him at 6'3, 305. That is a svelte 305, looks like he could add even more. Powerhouse frame. As a 160lb guy, i just can't fathom how powerful you must feel at that size.

Tonight or tomorrow, I'm going to find the pregame interviews of Franklin and Freeman. I want to watch Franklin with his self-assured passive-aggressive humor. I want to watch Freeman knowing how things have since played out. Once I do, I'm going to find a video that accurately shows...

More importantly, at least to me, the class average would be somewhere in the 92.25-92.75 range (quick mental math, someone check me). That would be the best class I've seen in the modern recruiting era. Truly, it would be a class that we all look back on as 'raising the bar'.
