I think the ND OC gig will generate a lot of interest. The QB, RB, OL, and TE units will all be (should be) among the best in the country in '23. And there's the notoriety of ND. I think a lot of coaches will be interested. As said before by others, if Leftwich reaches out, MF takes the call-...

    Question about a girl

So the same story we've all heard about some random girl from high school and college. And what we all read about on port-o-shitters and truck stop pissers throughout North America regarding Rack 'Em's mom.

Did Byron Leftwich's name get mentioned for any other reason than that he's an OC looking for a job, and ND needs to hire an OC? Or is there some connection or chance that the rest of us don't know about?

Could we be entering the realm where Brick's new old lady is exactly that? His actual old lady?

I think most head coaches "process out" assistants anymore. Most reports on coaches leaving in the NFL and college these days contain the words "contract wasn't renewed" or "mutually parting of ways." Train wrecks like Scott Frost and Nathaniel Hackett are about the only guys who get fired...

    Coaching Carousel

Seems to probably be the case. But wasn't Steele essentially the DC that preformed the best under Saban? Granted, that was before the explosion of offenses that has even saturated down to youth football. I could see Steele being the solid B+ placeholder...or perhaps an A+. Could be like a...

    General team info

I'm curious as to which players Bill was able to identify, present to the staff, other college coaches were not aware of, and became a true diamond in the rough and bonafide player for ND? By all accounts, Bill Rees is a quality evaluator and nice to have on the staff. I'm not sure that he was...

Could be concerning for sure. PPG as a stand-alone stat can sometimes be difficult to analyze the entire offense. Particularly without knowing the head coach, personnel, individual QB, turnovers, leads the team has, etc. Chip Long was brought in to help fix red zone efficiency. He mostly did...

    Tommy Rees - Offensive Coordinator

It simply means STFU and slide into his PM's to carry on your crusade. This thread actually has a chance to be good for ND fans to follow and participate. But your hard on for Bishop is helping to ruin that.

Moorehead and Brady are 2 guys MF has to make them turn him down. I think he should at least try and get interviews with Brian Johnson and Zac Robinson. Maybe Rich Scangarello too.

Yep, completely agree here. I think a lot of guys could be successful as the OC for ND in '23 though. There are multiple duds on Ludwig's resume that are worrisome, beyond being the '23 OC.

Ludwig could be a fresher version of John McNulty.

How were Ludwig's QB's and offenses at Vandy, Wisconsin, San Diego St., Fresno St., Cal, Cal Poly, etc.? Again, he might do well as OC at ND. As I said, he could potentially be like a Todd Monken. But he has had a long career as an OC and QB coach and they all weren't as good as Utah's...

Ludwig is interesting. He has a broad resume, but nothing seems to stand out, except maybe the last year or two at Utah. I wonder if he even called the plays when he was at Oregon? Did Belotti? Not sure how much oh a handicap should be placed on PPG at Utah in the defenseless pac-12 either...
