He won't be in the starting 11 unless there are injuries. Its the most crowded part of the pitch. Mckennie and Adams will likely start double pivot with Tillman and Pulisic playing behind Balogun. Luna may be first midfielder off the bench though.

    2025 College Football Playoffs

Fun thought experiment... Is eye test just a catch phrase for advanced metrics? I say yes.

    2025 College Football Playoffs

So all wins and losses are the same, in other words? These metrics provide clarity to a very murky landscape of college football in which 12 game seasons need to be analyzed.

But wouldn't that be at Bamas expense?

    2025 College Football Playoffs

At the end of the day, the committee's job is to identify the 7 best at large teams in the field and rank the 12 teams appropriately. ND is one of the 7 best at large teams, of that I'm confident and so is Vegas.

Will never happen because its the dumbest logic ever

    2025 College Football Playoffs

So why is ND ranked so many spots ahead of Miami right now, or last week, or the week before? Miami isn't accumulating good wins. Neither do they magically get rid of their losses. That would be a terrible precedent for the committee to set. One team ranked 8 spots ahead of another team, but...

    2025 College Football Playoffs

I don't know how Miami, who has been firmly behind ND after their 2nd loss, would suddenly jump ND after beating VTech and Pitt. I do not see that happening.

    2025 College Football Playoffs

The committee has talked about ND being a complete team. I'm going to go ahead and predict ND above both Oklahoma and Bama tonight. Both of those teams have significant flaws.

    2025 College Football Playoffs

Because they beat VTech and Pitt? Miami will still be 3 or 4 spots behind ND tonight.

    2025 College Football Playoffs

People are still worried about Miami? The committee has made itself pretty clear, 2 loss Miami and 2 loss ND are not comparable.

Chris "Belt To" Ash - Defensive Coordinator

Something fundamentally changed at halftime of the Purdue game. Id imagine the defensive numbers since that game would be on par with the rest of the top 5 graded defenses on this list.

'23 MO RB Jeremiyah Love (Notre Dame Signee)

Love isn't winning the Heisman, but he probably will be invited. The odds are way too long at this point for him to have a realistic chance.

Disagree on Georgia. They aren't special. We would shut them down just like last year.

    2025 CFB Polls and Rankings

I watched the refs hand Georgia a game against an average Auburn team. I'm not sold on any of the SEC teams. None of them really pass the eye test imo.

To your first point, maybe thats why the QB decision took so long in camp. Denbrock probably thought Minchey fit his system better but Carr showed he had better arm and command of the playbook.
