Joe Rudolph - Offensive Line Coach

Good points here, but I think most cfb fans would say the best team in the SEC is either aggies or Georgia. And ND's best win is against a good (not great) USC team with 2 losses, possibly 3 losses after this weekend.

Man I thought Balki wore green sunglasses. Do you work for the ND athletic dept? ND is on a nice 8 game win streak and the most impressive one was against a 2 loss USC team. Don't talk like this is the Aggies ripping through the SEC unscathed. You failed to mention that at least 4 times in...

Or there's a good chance they lose to a team in the playoff with comparable or inferior talent.

A person spending years in their field doesn't make them infallible, but he better come up with new ideas for the playoffs in goal line and short yardage.

Your guess would be wrong. Minchey is more than capable of throwing an accurate ball, he would be dangerous in read option with either RB, and could also run the QB draw/ QB power better than CJ. It's not predictable for any DC. Does ND need to do anything special vs Syracuse and Stanford? No...

    Pitt Postgame

It's actually a better question for guys who went to Pitt for football. 1) The city is meh (Primanti Bros is severely overrated) 2) School is fine 3) Football team hasn't been relevant since Bush was in the white house 4) Clown of a head coach 5) Your home games at the neighbor NFL stadium...

A shuffle would be two QB's splitting series, and that's not what I'm saying. I'm talking about very specific situations, mainly inside the ten yard line going in.

Denbrock didn't out think himself much today. Didn't think his O line could win in short yardage either, which is why he called at least 4 quick outs to Rairdon instead. Happy to see ND kick ass in Pittsburgh today.

Joe Rudolph - Offensive Line Coach

ND didn't even make the top 10 for the Joe Moore award this year. On the Thursday II podcast this topic came up. Sampson said when it comes to short yard or goal line, the 12 package isn't getting results. That group couldn't say with any confidence that the ND O line could win even matchups vs...

Joe Rudolph - Offensive Line Coach

Undeniable fact lol, calm down bud. I just tossed up an alternative idea after 9 games of watching this OL get their shit kicked in by (largely) subpar defenses. It's also an idea that eases the pressure on the patchwork OL and gives your most talented player (Love) more opportunities and more...

Let's look at rushing yards per game and average yards per carry on Sunday if you take the games vs Miami, A&M, and Pitt.

The QB is athletic enough to run, although ND doesn't want CJ to replicate Riley Leonard.

Same church different pew in my opinion. I think Kelly at Oregon was a ton of lateral stuff to get small, quick guys in space. That's not what I envision for ND in the run game. You can go 4 wide and still be able to run counter, ISO, power and read option without 8 guys in the box.

Joe Rudolph - Offensive Line Coach

ND is down 3 starting OL and has 1 functional tight end. Their performance in the short run game has been embarrassing. I'd love to see them do what an opponent in high school did versus everyone. This school had an all state RB who eventually broke every rushing record in the county. They got...

    Coaching Carousel

If he cares more and enjoys golf than coaching D1 football, what a brilliant move. BK might have done the same. Put in a few years in the SEC, get fired, take your buyout money and live a really comfortable life. I am beyond jealous.

    Brian Kelly Revisited (RIP BOZO)

I buy the first part, not the second. No way you're playing that many rounds in a year if you're consistently in the 90's, unless you hate your wife.

    Brian Kelly Revisited (RIP BOZO)

I imagine BK would interview with 3 schools every December, say there wasn't proper alignment, and continue cashing LSU checks.

    Brian Kelly Revisited (RIP BOZO)

There's a decent chance next fall that BK and Belichick are both unemployed and hanging out together in Nantucket.

    Brian Kelly Revisited (RIP BOZO)

Well that was quite enjoyable, especially since there was no ND game yesterday. It felt exactly the way we Philly fans react to the Cowboys losing. BK flipping shit on his special teams coach multiple times was lol
