This is exactly the case. Vallejo is a loss and the staff was pushing incredibly hard. The staff slow played Blade because they wanted to see his senior year progression. I believe they would have taken his commitment, but they weren’t pushing like Vallejo and Wilder. Those were flat out losses...

Not sure I agree with that. Dude was strong as a bull but had zero side to side athleticism and was not in the same planet as Vallejo in terms of hand usage and violence.

Anything resembling a healthy HC in terms of production would be great. That doesn’t make HC a good comp for Vallejo. HC was a more technically sound interior DL man with little unnecessary or wasted movement. Vallejo is much more violent at the point of attack and also considerably bigger...

If it is indeed down to ND and PSU, the announcement date doesn’t bother me. Wiltfong mentioning ND and PSU on an almost even playing field after the last PSU visit is big news.
