I would question whether Sneed comes to ND if Kelly was there. And Styles was wanted by most to play corner. I could be wrong, but ND was the only, or one of the only, to give him a shot at WR. Kollie, for some reason, didn't seem to progress, which happens to players regardless of stars.

Wasn't Ben Morrison a high 3 star or low 4 star? Same with Julian Love? I think that the real trick is, can the coaches find players that they can develop. May be "easier' to develop a high 4 or 5 star, but maybe those guys have peaked athletically.
