The governor in La may be the sticking point since he has already on record as opposing the amount of $ being spent on LSU athletics. Can't see him in favor of forking out Kelly's buyout as it is.

I remember when YJ stormed the field when Ga Tech beat Fla St in Atlanta one year. He always seemed like a pretty cool person and someone you would have a beer with. Hope he is doing well.

I don’t believe A&M is as good as advertised. Their QB is average at best. Oklahoma has a good enough defense but their offense can be shut down. LSU is… well LSU. All the talent but subpar coaching. Ole Miss can beat any team in the country but lose to half of them as well any given weekend.

Bama’s out of state enrollment started topping in state enrollment a few years back. They appear in actively recruit students on the upper end academically. Where they come from isn’t really a factor but I don’t really know. Maybe they recruit certain areas harder than others.
