The boys of summer! (Baseball Thread)

Congrats to former ND baseball HC & ND football fan, Pat Murphy! He got Eck Stadium built & made ND baseball competitive. Dude reportedly “cold called” ND for their HC opening & eventually got it.

A very well run organization. Deserved and then some. One of the coolest logos in sports.

As a White Sox fan, both teams in the World Series are the standard as far as I'm concerned. Smart front offices that do a lot more with a lot less.

Craig Counsell rn:

They were the best team in baseball and they won the World Series. That doesn't always happen, and it should, so this was pretty cool to see. Dominant fashion too. One of the best front offices in the business, if not THE best, and young players under control for the next few years.

This is how you run a team. Assuming the guys in that front office are going to have opportunities galore. Matt Kleine already being connected to the Astros GM job.

The Pirates passed on Matt Arnold in 2019. Incredible.
