Scrolling down and see a post about an unhinged Miami fan I thought for sure it was going to be a serious of posts from that one Miami fan who looks like he posts out of pocket comments to women on social media with whole ass government name on display. I think it's like Timothy Johnson or something. That dude is mentally ill.

Dude's takes are just so damn awful. He picked us to lose every game at the end of '24 from at least USC through the playoffs, and when OSU came out on top at the end he puffed his chest out like he was the smartest guy in the room. There was little chance we win that game while missing 1/3 of our starters, but even broken clocks are right twice and all that.

The thing I don't get about guys like Pate, is who exactly is consuming this content? Is there really such a market for SEC homer generic takes? He offers no special insight, he has no in depth analysis, I've never learned anything from a single clip of his. I feel this way about probably 90% of sports media though. It's all almost entirely worthless. Guys like Brooks Austin are rare.

I don't consume Pate's shit directly, I just see his stupid takes highlighted on social media, and he comes up a lot! I don't really see anybody forwarding his wisdom, probably because he has none.
