OSUs success feels more coupled to their WR1 than it has in past years.

Like the year they lost JSN, they were still a FG away from being Georgia and probably winning the national championship.

This year feels different. They still have some dudes behind Jeremiah Smith and are probably a top 10 team without him, but they absolutely need him to stay healthy.

Like you said - you can feel him consistently bailing them out.

I would agree, but to echo my comment in the CJ Carr thread, Penix, McCarthy, and Bo Nix all went in the top 15 picks of the same draft, the last time we were supposed to have a "loaded" QB class. Arch, Sayin, and even Trinidad Chambliss will get some GM/Coach combo fired. Maybe Dante Moore too, assuming he returns to full health this year.

Problem is everyone is going to gargle their nuts now and say how this “proves” how deep the SEC is. I really don’t have any animosity against Mizzu but I can’t stand the suck fest the SEC gets.
