So much changes between now and 2027, much less 2032/2033 that I find it hard to make broad generalizations about the strength/quality/caliber of teams on our schedule 6 years in advance.

When we booked this Wisconsin game, they were a 10 win team. Now they aren't...

Florida and USC could be better with new coaches - same with Nebraska. We could face a 1927 Yankees style Murderer's Row or we could end up with a weak schedule like this year.

Besides, who knows how good ND will be in 2033. We won't have Marcus Freeman coaching anymore since he won 3 National Titles and is only coming back to campus to unveil his statue.

I know that you can't definitively say that Nebraska will never be "Nebraska" again. After all, freaking Indiana just won the championship.

But ...

Nebraska isn't ever going to be that "Nebraska" again.

9-10 wins is a great season for them in the current landscape.

A 9 win team is just what the doctor ordered for our schedule most years. We usually have enough of the true high level tests every year. It's the 7-9 win teams we seemingly cannot get on our schedule.
