Reminds me a bit of 2013 where true frosh Tarean Folston gradually supplanted the two veteran backs ahead of him and was arguably RB1 by season's end. Curious to see if history repeats here or if the vets can hold him off.

Yes, that was an issue earlier in camp that he addressed but the current issue with Walton has been how he practices according to Freeman. Freeman stated "He's learning reads and how to set up blocks and how to be patient and when to go. You've got to practice at a pace and a speed that reflects the game. This isn't high school. You can't jog around here. You've got to go full speed, and you're seeing that habit develop, and as a result he's a truly ascending player."
