If I was Kenny I’d probably feel like ND led me on, which is how most back up QBs probably feel today tbh. He very possibility outplayed CJ in camp last year.

Given how serious QBs are measured against each other constantly from the time they are 15, I'm gonna guess Kenny knew the score and had his own reasons for sticking around as long as he did. And, frankly, things have worked out pretty well for him. At age 21, he's a millionaire with a degree from Notre Dame (or close to it) two years of eligibility and a starting job in the SEC.
