Had the same thought. I don't see the burst, but that may not be how he wins.

Cig and IU going after both Moshun Sales and Burrell. Didn't ND have a Singer CB for Burrell back in October?

I would take him later in the process if we want 4. Cooper is better and I think we need different bodies for the other 2 spots. Bodies such as Jones and others

He's a Top 100 guy on 247 and from Chicagoland. If he wants in, you take him.

If they take Burrell I'd really want it to be part of a 4 WR class in which they take two boundary WRs. Both Burrell and Cooper play the boundary position. If it's a 3 WR class I'd be disappointed with Cooper + Burrell and only one Slot / Field receiver.

Should not be relevant to being the tipping point of making him a take.

That being said, the offer list speaks for itself. The ranking is a mark of achievement for him going into his senior year. He plays for a very good program that wins. There is a lot to like.

Maybe they can get one the other WRs in too. Would be ideal if they got Gayles or Caldwell in. Is the smaller Texas guy comin in that weekend?

Not to my knowledge. Those three are the only WRs I've seen as visiting that weekend, but my info might be dated

I do believe Gayles said he was going to do an Ov. Caldwell was uncertain bc he could commit before OVs

Caldwell's film is nuts. And he plays against the top competition in TX. Might be my favorite WR in this class that we have a realistic shot with.

Matt Gregory visits with those other WRs too. Gayles supposedly had a good visit, but it has been quiet and Caldwell was reported by one of the 247 sites as looking to stay closer to home most likely.
