Mountain West, Conference USA form new league, sources say - ESPN

The Mountain West and Conference USA will announce a newly named conference in what is being termed a new association, not a merger of the remaining existing members, according to multiple sources.

The conference may start as early as 2013-14.

The MWC/C-USA will have a regional/divisional makeup of the current membership of the two leagues.

The new league – which is yet to be named – is expected to consist of Southern Miss, Marshall, East Carolina, UAB, Tulsa, Rice, UTEP and Tulane from C-USA and Wyoming, Air Force, Colorado State, UNLV, New Mexico, Fresno State, Nevada and Hawaii from the MWC. Hawaii would be a football-only member, making a 15-team all-sports conference and a 16-team football conference.

Oh yea and if anyone actually has a thought about CUSA and the MWC, go on ahead and squeeze it in between the uninspired, primates, and large women.

CUSA isn't bringing much, and MWC has been gutted...so now we have a conference full of chicks no one asked to the dance....which may have been the theme you all were getting at with the rotund ladies...???

I'll root like hell for them all, but sheesh, this isn't good in terms of helping anyone's BCS AQ hopes.
