So, the Big Ten has played 8 games in this bowl season with a record of 3-8. There big wins were: Illinois against a 6-7 UCLA team minus a coach. Purdue barely holds on to beat a MAC team. The only real win was MSU beating Georgia, which is a team ND beat soundly.

So, the bellcow schools of the Big Ten: OSU>Lost, PSU>Lost, WISC>Lost.

All that is left is UM.

The good ole Big Ten that fattens up there W's by beating up on weak non-conf schools get exposed again.

I am glad it will be atleast two years before we have to listen to any OSU fans do any bowl bragging.

Wisconsin was hardly exposed in the Rose bowl...

And Georgia was the third best team in the SEC, so...not a great year for bowls for the B1G whatever, but not a terrible one either.

The Big 10 reminds me of the NFC East, they play their best game against each other but struggle against other conferences.

Personally, I was rooting for Big 10. All of them except UM. I was very happy for MSU. That was a great game.

What does that tell ya? lol Bunch of bravado with no substance to back it up. Typical B1G.

Agreed, So i must say then if it comes down to us joining a conference i'd hope we see that and go to the ACC over BigTen.

The Big 10 is pretty weak this year.

They have Wisconsin as their lone elite team (and even that's debatable). Michigan State was very good and their big bowl win over Georgia certainly helps the Big 10's reputation.

Michigan was solid. They played a decent schedule (10 bowl teams) but they certainly lucked out against Notre Dame and lucked out even further by landing the nation's most overrated team as a BCS bowl opponent.

Nebraska was decent. Penn State was vastly overrated, playing a pussy schedule (no Wisky or Sparty) and fielding a horrid offense.

Then you have a bunch of mediocre teams (Iowa, Purdue, Northwestern, Ohio State, Illinois) and two awful teams in Minnesota and Indiana.

To be fair.....wis. ohio st, penn state, Nebraska, and Michigan st were all underdogs. Also when you look Hugo the big ten plays versus say the acc, there is no doubt how has a tougher bowl schedule

#1 b10 - pac12 # 1 And acc - at large this year big east #1. Adv. b10
#2 b10 - sec # 2 and acc - sec#5. Adv b10
#3 b10 - sec #3 or 4 and acc - big east # 2 or nd adv b10
#4 b10 - big 12 #4 and acc - pac12 #4 adv push (not b10 4/5 can go here or to next bowl) although if pressed I would lean b10 ( see oklahoma vs wash as choices)
#5 b10 - sec #6 and acc - big east 3 adv again I will go push, but if pressed go with b10 ( louisville vs Florida)
#6 b10 - big 12 #6 and acc - sec # 7 or 8 Adv push with a lean towards acc if # 7 and towards b10 with #8( Texas vs auburn or vandy)
#7 big 10 - cusa #2 or big 12 #8 (depending on year) and acc - mcw # 3 adv big 10
#8 b10 - Mac # 2 and acc - depending on year army, navy, cusa #6 or mac#4. Adv b10

Big ten' bowl schedule is so much tougher than acc, that being said they were disappointing this year in there results no denying that.

Wisconsin and PSU are in the same division, so they play every year. Plus they played Alabama too. It wasn't exactly a brutal schedule, but that has more do to the Big Ten being down, then easy scheduling.

When Matt McGloin is your QB, things aren't looking so bright.
