How did you do this year, are you in the playoffs?

I'm in 2 leagues, and made the playoffs in both. For one of them, I already locked up the #1 seed and don't have to play the first week, and those playoffs don't start til next week -- so I have a meaningless (except that I play against my cocky, sh!t-talking buddy) game today... And the other league, the playoffs have begun this week, and I have a very tough match-up.

Made the playoffs. Don't know the score but I think I had a pretty decent Thursday night

I use to play in 3 leagues, but there always seemed to be a conflict of interest with who to start and who to sit. I would always be playing against someone I was starting in another league. This year I cut back to 1 league. I lost 2 of the first 4. Then went 8-0-1 over the next 9. This is only an 8 team league. At that point I clinched a ployoff spot following week 11. Well haven't won a game since. I'm now 8-4-1 and this is the last week before playoffs start. My downfall, Big Ben is my starting QB and he has been iffy on TDs this year. Its a very TD heavy league. With Megatron, Foster, and MJD, I think I can pull it off.

I do. And I need help. I have to choose between:

Julio Jones vs. Carolina
Brandon Lloyd vs. Seattle
Marion Barber vs. Denver

Normally that is an easy choice... play Brandon Lloyd, watch the points go up. But Sam Bradford AND AJ Feely are hurt. And I have no idea who will be getting him the ball. Then there is Julio Jones who is capable of very explosive games and has a great matchup, but has a lingering hamstring issue. And then there is Marion Barber who I have no idea what to do with because Denver has a good defense.

I can't decide if I should give Desean Jackson one last shot or start Benjarvis Green Ellis in his spot. Dude is a bum and hasn't done a thing for me all year.

I have DJax too. I made the mistake of starting him for most of the first 10+ weeks. He will forever stay on my bench now. I don't care if he has 12 TDs today. Plus with Megatron, Plaxico, and Marshall to pick 2 from, usually I'm fine not even considering him.

Is it a PPR?

I have Julio and know how frustrating he can be with his hammy and his boom or bust games, but I just don't trust Barber at all. I actually have both these guys in my money league, and am not starting either. I'm starting Santana over Julio and Gerhart over Barber.

But I agree with you that you can't trust Lloyd with the QB situation, and I think that even though Atlanta will pound Turner because of the fantastic matchup, they are going to try and get Julio the ball after he didn't even get targeted last week. Barber isn't great anyway, and will be facing a stacked box because there is no way they think Hanie can beat Champ & co. through the air especially with their pass rush.

Yeah, basically my thoughts to a T. Going to roll with Julio and hope for the best. He's going to get a single coverage at least a half dozen times this game because of Turner and have his chances to make a play. Hopefully he does.

Yea definitely a boom or bust play this week but I like his upside over Barber's probable 5-6 points.

#1 in our IE league. Just beat down Steve. Looks like I get UPMich_ND fan unless Steven Jackson runs roughshod tomorrow.

I somehow ended up with Big Ben and Newton with Houston/Chicago as defense. Couldn't get a decent trade to save my life for a stud WR or RB though.

I think half the league abandons hope after the first couple of weeks.
