Breaking News: Sources: Big East will add Boise State, San Diego State, SMU, Central Florida and Houston

Not sure if it can be called the Big East anymore considering there are teams from the west and south.

This is a dumb move. The cross country trips are going to be costly and take the students out of class for long periods of time. College athletics have really lost track of what is important.

Well crap! I was just asking about this the other day! I could have changed the conferences around in my dynasty during the offseason! Grr...

They got the best little conference guys they could, but this conference **** is absolutely stupid. It makes it painfully clear that this is all about money and honestly, this **** should be illegal or something.

That's kind of the inferred (obvious) point. All predicated on the Big East keeping it's bid after the next BCS meeting. If this whole experiment doesn't work out where are they then?

Edit: Additions of Boise State Broncos, Houston Cougars among additions to new Big East Conference - ESPN seems to resonate this line of thinking.
