11.30 | Dave Brandon said Tuesday he didn't want to host a night game "for the sake of a night game," which, reading between the lines, may mean Michigan Stadium's next evening tilt will wait some time. Next season doesn't appear to have a great opponent draw for a night game with Air Force, UMass and Illinois at home, followed by the annual in-state rivalry game against Michigan State on Oct. 20. Brandon has said he does not want to host a Michigan-Michigan State night game because it has the potential for crowd problems. ... A better bet or a night game will come the following season when Michigan plays Notre Dame on Sept. 7 at Michigan Stadium in 2013.

N.B. This is speculation not a done deal.

Too many night games this season. Would like us to play on Thursday Night. Get a national audience with no competition.

I think we should play them at home at night next year too. The atmosphere at the SC game this year was amazing, and I'd like to see us have one night game every year (alternate SC and scUM? maybe throw MSU or Navy in there?)

But this time we whoop them. Hard.

It was a great experience. Felt so surreal seeing the players running out of the tunnel and under the M Club banner under the lights.

When was the last time ND hosted Michigan at night? It's been quite awhile because it wasn't recently.

Side Note: Michigan's home schedule next season is terrible. DB already said that state will not be a night game due to safety concerns because of the idiotic fans state brings.

9/8 vs Air Force
9/15 vs Massachusetts
10/13 vs Illinois
10/20 vs State
11/10 vs Northwestern
11/17 vs Iowa

Boy, you guys have a brutal road schedule. ND, OSU, and NEB all in the same season. And Bama in Texas.

Do they still have 8 home games? Hell they should all be home games.

A night game would be sweet in my opinion.

Yeah it's going to be tough. The last time Michigan had 6 road games was 2004. 9-3 finish and Big Ten Champions.

Too bad ND can't play UofM after that opener against Bama!

But I guess our travel fatigue would be an issue too.
