Anyone Watching "Walking Dead" on AMC?

Yeah, they showed a scene during the show after Walking Dead where he takes a nasty fall and he punctures himself pretty badly with one of his crossbows. Dunno if it is considered "contaminated" or what.

I hadn't even stopped to think about the arrows being contaminated.
Damn, you guys are right...he probably will go down because of that.
I personally like the way they did the sex scene with Glenn. It was supposed to be an awkward moment with a shy kid like that, I think they pulled it off perfectly.
Anyone watch the Talking Dead last night? They accidentally messed up and said they improv-ed the sex scene before the shoot(implying the actually had sex)....it was a pretty funny moment.

As far as last night's episode, I wasn't a fan. I have no problem with slow episodes centered around character development. In fact, I love them. But last night's episode just wasn't very good. I was waiting for the pregnancy scare since last season and was really hoping they wouldn't do it since it's so cliche. But the part that I really didn't like was Glenn hooking up with Hershel's daughter. It was the most forced and awkward scene ever. I understand they're lonely but the way the writers threw that scene together it's like they were writing for a porno scene. Hopefully it gets back on track for next week.

Yeah I felt like the lines were right from a porno scene. It was really awkward and badly put together scene.

Yeah there was a huge spoiler on the next time scenes dang it.

Darryl has really grown on me, nothing like his brother. So I am a little lost here. What exactly is the timeline we are talking in regard to the start of all this to Rick waking up in the hospital etc etc. Because in my estimation it hasn't been all that long and people being "lonely" doesn't quite cut it for me. Frankly I would have "hard" time getting it on in a pharmacy when your horses are outside as tied up lunch.
Just like Rick's wife and Shane... Which is why I am asking for a timeline. Seems mighty easy for her to move on and in a short time. I know their marriage was on the rocks but still..

Characterwise, no.

But this Season Two story arc? Yup. Notice what MAJOR event happened after the hat was passed from Father to son. MAJOR change in the story.

In my estimation from the show (I haven't read the comics), Rick was in a coma for quite some time. Then the zombie thing started. I would estimate there was several months from the time he got shot to the time he woke up in the hospital. So there was quite a bit of time that his wife and Shane had to get cozy. Maybe they were even getting together before Rick got shot.

As for the timeline since Rick woke up, I estimate it has only been a few weeks. A month at most. It would be pretty tough for her to pass of the new baby as Rick's in such a short time.

On the previews for next week, did they show a bunch of helicopters flying to some city? I have to back and watch it on DVR. I saw it as I was watching the first episode of Hell on Wheels. The story line of the helicopter Rick saw when he first got to Atlanta kind of died out. I want to know what it was he saw.

Well damn. Sucks to be Daryll. Can Andrea please off herself and at the very least stop touching guns. I find the irony in regards to yelling at Rick in Atlanta about firing off guns, and then she goes to shoot the "lone" walker. Even after the rules were set and was told no multiple times.

I don't see why not. After all, they have 11 more condoms. By the way, that may have been the most awkward line I've heard on television, but I guess it fits with his character. But seriously, to say this episode was a great set-up for the next couple episodes is underselling it. It was a fantastic episode on its own. Also, did anybody else start cussing Andrea out when she shot Darryl?

^^ I was thinking that the zombies in the barn are family members and friends that he wants to keep in there while he waits for a cure. He stated his belief in a cure being found in one of the earlier episodes.

^i could see that, i just wonder how he did it. of course if you want to be a little more "out there" you could think, maybe for some strange reason he started out with 1 or 2 but gradually found survivors and "fed" them to the walkers in barn. This could be one of the reasons why he wanted the Group to leave the farm soon
