Oh, fer da luv a gawd, people, the term is "shoo-in," not "shoein!" Footwear has nothing to do with the term. While I'm at it, there is no "alot." only "allot" and "a lot." Oh, not to forget "noone" vs "no one."
Then there is the muddying of "their," "there" and "they're." Also don't forget that capitalization, punctuation, a dictionary, spellcheck and proofreading are your [not you're] friends – and mine.
Clear, logical positing of one's argument (not arguement) or opinion might be appreciated by the few old farts on this board. It might also inspire some of the recruits and encourage their parents that there is value in a Notre Dame experience and learning opportunity. There is life beyond Twitter and texting.
My apologies to any I may have offended. A Fall weekend without an ND game tends to make me cranky.
At least I didn't hijack a recruit's thread to vent and rant.
