Visitor section is usually the south end zone, right under the video board. I heard somewhere that that was already sold out, so my guess is they will spread all the ND fans around the stadium. Probably way up top on the east side of the stadium

I'm a Purdue student.

As of last night they were not sold out.

As fans of Notre Dame we have not earned the right to discount any opponent. To the people who think the Irish are going to blow Purdue apart show some damn humility.

I agree Sir, After last weeks game, even though we got the W, we have nothing to be gloating about.

I agree with the humility. Any team that have played the way we have over the last 16 games we have zero right to feel we can roll over anybody. I still think we will be OK if Tommy doesn't turn it over like he has at that epic rate. But, rolling over---no way. We sure can use a game that we play well, every ND fan can use that.

I've got a good feeling about this game. Feel this is the week the mental mistakes are cut way down

i think this game will be a confidence builder. not sure about a blow out, but i think they will be able to move the ball very well, ground and air. if they are able to control and possess the ball (no turnovers), it should be a good day!

The Boilermakers are probably trying to figure out how to block Lynch with only 10 guys. I think he'll see a lot of playing time Saturday.

Defensive Schemes

Defensive Schemes

On the Pitt Football TV Show today coach Graham stated we had Rees confused. I would expect the Purdue coach will attempt to do the same thing with defensive schemes intended to confuse Rees. No doubt they will double coverage Floyd too. When you look back Rees was lucky he had only one intercept since on a few other throws into double coverage he came close. Rees adjusted not throwing to Floyd in double coverage but not with his other receivers. I think Pitt confusing defensive schemes got him frustrated and he was throwing into double coverages due to that. So one thing Rees has to do Saturday is stay cool calm and don't force throws into double coverages.

ND will win, Rees will make it close, Hendrix will get PT in the Airforce Game

Book it!

And you are like the fly that for some reason who enjoys hovering around the area of a street bumb's taint. Quit with the nonsense, bring something tangible to the board, otherwise, get lost.

If you have nothing, go away.

Purdue fans at least act like they're going to be relevant someday, which is annoying. It's what separates them from Indiana fans who could give a crap because they're cognizant of the fact that they should just wait until basketball season.

the last time they were relevant was when brees was the QB

Weather is supposed to be 57 and sunny all day Saturday, so I don't expect the wet conditions we had against USF and Pitt. Also, if we are going to block a punt all year, this will be the game it happens. Purdue's punt team is abysmal minus the punter who is an all conference player. We get a huge special teams play this week to blow the game open.
Go Irish!

I don't like making predictions about games because this team's usually hell-bent on taking a dump on said predictions, but I will be livid if we don't win by 14. Purdue is legitimately the worst team we'll face. At least Wake Forest has a decent passing game.

Having watched Purdue twice this year...

If we don't win by at least two scores, I'll puke.

I don't want to predict a blowout (although I'd gladly take one). However, I do feel that this is the perfect game to get some frosh a little mop-up duty. I'd really like to see GA3 and Cam in the backfield, Davaris getting some reps at WR, and either Hendrix or Golson used in some QB packages.

Wood seemed to get a little banged up last Saturday, so RB reps are very important. I'd prefer GA3 to eventually be moved to his recruited position of WR, so getting Cam in there to give Wood a rest is crucial to build depth. That, and I'm just excited to see what Cam can do. He seems to be the forgotten gem of this class.

Go Irish! Beat Boilers!

I just want to see a huge pass rush. It will make our DB's job easier. And take some pressure off of Rees, so he can relax and sling it. Prefferably to our guys--Heavy dose of Floyd/TJ and Eiffert. And then let Wood take over. To me the defense has to set the tone Saturday.

Don't get your hopes up. Purdue is more of a running team. Unless we jump out to a huge lead early. Purdue will try and grind it out, forcing us to play assignment football. I look for this to be our Rush D up against Purdue's Rush O for most of the game. Again, unless we get up on them early.
