Ozzie is a side show clown. If his antics didn't work in Chi-town, they sure as hell aren't going to work down in F.L.A..... I like Ozzie, especially as an opposing manager as he always gave the team fuel to a series...but it seems he wears on people. Best of luck to him.

Thats what i loved about him.

That's the crux of my dilemma....I like him a lot too... Being a Tribe fan, he's burned so many bridges here, he's a dead man, but I'd sure as hell love to have him. The man can definately manage.

I like Ozzie. I'll miss Ozzie. But, if he wasn't in the club's future plans, I think it's extremely awesome that we got some prospects back for him, instead of just letting him go.

That said, where do we go from here?

Good post. the only thing now is nobody will be there to see/hear is spout offs. On the plus side there are alot of spanish speaking people down there, he will fit in better. The only difference is, I do not like him 1 bit.

His antics are just going to be pathetic in Florida with all the empty seats and meaningless games. I like him as a manager and he should be managing a big team in a major city..

Boston.. Yea, Boston.. Cause I'd really enjoy him freaking out after all of Papelbons meltdowns.

(paging Ron Gardenhire)

I hate the Twins...but if Gardy had the Sox payroll to work with, he could do some damage.

Gardy is the balls.... I can't stand the guy but would love him commanding the ship of our son's of the Cuyahoga. He gets the most out of his players.

Love the Marlins. They're about due for another wildcard championship run. They do have a boatload of young talent as well.

I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the '97 World Series (and I was six!), so boo for the Marlins. That being said, I love Ozzie and feel like he's the right guy to work with star Hanley Ramirez.

Ozzie had a hand in heartbreak in Cleveland as well. During the '05 championship run, the White Sox were sliding fast. All the Indians needed to do the final weekend was take one of three from Chicago. It didn't happen.

I think it's obvious the time has come to blow the team up and rebuild. With a new GM making the same caliber moves KW was, but actually getting production, the process may not be as long as you think.

As a fan of another NL East team (Mets), this should make the first month of next season more interesting. Until Loria cans him, that is...
