The question I have is this. Kelly was very quick to pull Crist in the first game and from what I have seen from Rees the last 3 1/2 quarters when does Kelly make the switch back? Or does he? Does he ride or die with Rees the rest of the season?

I'm sure he's flipping a coin at every commercial break. Tommy just gives up the ball too much.

I think its Rees. Crist did nothing to make me believe he can be a viable starting QB.

I may be a bit bias, but I'd take Clausen.

I watched, in person, him go 27/29 (93%) with 404 yards 5 TDs and zero picks in a loss.

It was the most incredible QB display I've ever seen.

Clausen could've been one of the best college QBs ever (statistically) if he would've stayed one more year. Would've loved to see him in Kelly's system last year. ND and college football fans lost an opportunity to see something special when Clausen declared early. Damn shame.

Perhaps my memory is shot, but didnt he play last year? Thats a bit more than one quarter. Rees has been more impressive in just a bit less time on the field than Crist. The only way Crist starts is if Rees gets hurt, or absolutely sucks for a few weeks, which I dont think is gonna happen
