I guess I wasn't clear (my fault) when I said went and not started.

Lou lost the last 3 games that year (1987) which included a loss to PSU, a blowout to Miami (0-24) and a final loss to A&M. Yet after those 3 losses he went 12-0 ! Things can change quickly

With clarification it's a good point though.

Unfortunately, I believe the winning streak ended at 23 (Miami loss in 1989)... sounds like a good objective for BK! Although I would settle for 13... in the same year !
