10. NOTRE DAME
BUZZ: Michael Floyd and Theo Riddick should be a great duo for the Irish, especially considering this will be the second season for coach Brian Kelly and the quarterbacks should be quite comfortable with the scheme. Floyd is one of the three or four most talented receivers in the nation. TE Tyler Eifert has 40-catch potential. While Floyd and Riddick are set at the top of the Irish pecking order, it would be helpful to them if at least one other receiver emerges as a complementary threat. Kelly says he needs seven receivers to make his offense truly go; he's not going to have seven this season. But his top two plus his tight end make for a productive bunch.

Eifert had 27 catches in six starts last year. I think he'll definitely exceed 40 grabs if healthy.

TJ Jones was badly underutilized last year by Crist/Rees. I think he becomes that reliable third option we need this year.

Yea, I would agree with this. I think we have a LOT of good WR/TE’s and I think we can have a great WR/TE core by the end of the year. We (ND fans) know who we have and we have a good idea of what they can do. The REST of the country has to be introduced to our WR/TW’s. That my fellow Irishmen is why we need to stop the talk, and produce like we ALL know we can. (I’ve had a few drinks, sorry for the tirade)

I would take Notre Dame's corp over at least Oregon State, Michigan, and Michigan State.

Who on here is Jonathan Sawkin? :)

USC only isn't on here because they are quite young at WR, but they are amazingly talented. Robert Woods (did extremely well last year), Kyle Prater (big things expected), Markeith Ambles were all top 2010 guys. Farmer and Lee were top 2011 guys. WR isn't the hardest transition, especially for top recruits, so USC guys could be good this year, but WILL be great next year and beyond.

Sucks to say all of this, because I'm a diehard ND fan.
