Very nice. Kind of surprised to see Stewie signed, especially with the Jets, but good for him!

Congrats! What a good group of guys too.

My take:
- Ian and Walls will stick.
- Tampa Bay needs to use Allen sparingly (maybe just returns). He has talent (I thought he looked great at the begining of last year- a lot tougher), but his body does not seem to be built for a beating (don't blame him, ask God).
- Chris Stewart will be tempting for a team to keep around just because of his size- kind of like a 7 footer in bball. I also think that there is a real possibility that he could turn out much better than people expect, as I have a feeling he has been distracted by school.
- Brian Smith has some limitations, but he also has heart. I'll be rooting for him.

smith is a dark horse...in the right system i think he can be solid, hopefully they keep him in the middle where he belongs.

I think Stewart will stick maybe not with the Jets but i see another team picking him up. Smith will make a team just for special teams with his athletic talent

Man, I really wanted the Jets to sign Ian.
He'd be a prototype 3-4 DE in their system.

San Fran got a good one.

I think/hope Stewart sticks. the Jets need the depth with Moore not being ready for camp. If he truly commits himself he'll make it.

Chicago has zero depth at running back and the one they have is a different type or runner than Hughes. The only question is whether Martz will even want someone with Robert's skill set in his offense. I think there is a good chance he makes the roster there.

martz will be gone after this season....so i sure hope he makes it. i love his bruising style to offset forte.

Kerry Neal signed with the Colts

Awesome. I can see him every time the Colts play then. My brother worked with Weis' strength and conditioning coach in his last year and said he would play in the pros some day because of his athletic and physical abilities alone. Looks like he was right.

Kamara needs to get signed! Work it out Duval!

I was sad to see none of them signed with the Giants. Although, we did sign Mark Herzlich so not all that bad.

Nice Hughes gets a chance with the Bears, it gives his family a chance to watch him play in the pros.

There's a drastic change between college and pros, no doubt.

Neal is currently third string SLB on the Colts depth chart. Behind Pat Angerer and Philip Wheeler.

Linebacker Brian Smith has been promoted from the practice squad to the regular roster. Smith (6-3, 240) was undrafted out of Notre Dame and came close to making the regular roster at the end of the preseason. That was before every other team made its final cuts, and Tom Heckert shopped til he dropped. Smith was unemployed until recently. He has been on the Browns’ practice squad the last three weeks.

Congratulations, Brian!!
