Jim Tressel is being honored by all or most of the GWOC (Greater Western Ohio Confrence)(High School) The first football game of the season all the head coaches are going to wear a white shirt and tie?? Really ?? Makes me want to Vomit !! I know what some will say but Im so sick and tired over the last 8 seasons how pure and rightcheous OSU football was. The fact that some even said it had more tradition then ND fotball.....Really??? honor this guy?? Cya Jim.....Dont let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya !!

Had to get that off my chest . I feel better now.

He not only lied once about knowing nothing of the crap that went on but.......................admitted later he did (Tressel). Guys there are other things that havent, and probably wont come out about Pryer and the other football players involved at OSU . I dont think this comes close to any situation Lou Holtz was involved in but this fine gentleman was just recently arrested by the FBI / ATF for drug trafficing and fire arms dealing.........I dont think I ever read anything on Lou's Players being in trouble with guys like that Kmoose ...........

I have a very reliable source whos high up in the media, I was told this stuff when i was in Indy at the Big10 Tournement in March before it came out in the media.

The committee was concerned that at least two football coaches were aware
that some of these gifts were being provided yet failed to notify the athletics
department compliance office so that a full investigation could be made into
the propriety of these gifts to the student-athletes and the circumstances
surrounding the provision of these gifts.
In 1994, the head coach learned that one of his student-athletes had taken a
weekend trip to Las Vegas. A cursory inquiry revealed that the trip was paid
for by the young woman who became involved in the violations in the case.
At that time the student-athlete was dating her and no additional inquiry was
made.

I'm not trying to smear Holtz here, just pointing out that when it was our guy, we were all too willing to believe that he was a good guy who got caught in a bad situation. But when it's the other guys' guy, then the guy must be a scumbag.
