No, he was already taken in account for before his "transfer". Kelly had already decided to not let him play for his own safety.

Ah, yes. Here's a quote from BGIF to another person who asked the same question.

Kelly told Wenger and his family back in March that he was not cleared by the ND medical staff and he would not be playing again at ND. He was not getting another year at ND. Wenger intended to go to UF back then.

thanks, that's what i thought cuz i didn't see him or hear bout all spring...some guys just don't know when to say know, hopefully this doesn't prove to be a bad decision on his part.

Sorry to hear about Dan having to leave, but it's true young Cave beat him out at the position last year. Wasn't aware of the concussions, that needs watching. I wish Dan the best at wherever he goes!
