Yeah he was arrogant but he brought a modernized look to the offense and he recruited as we are finding out to be pretty good talent on both sides of the ball.

It's a whooollle lot of money but if a school had to pay it...ND is the school most capable to do it which is why they did because they can afford it. To me, that payout is worth it for what we got. A whole no coaching philosohpy and atmosphere geared towards discipline and accountability.

I dont know how you can say this. Dont like him? Fine. But he was one of the most honorable coaches I have ever seen. A great family man, recruited his *** off and recruited great kids. Loved ND and bleeds blue and gold. He put everything he had into our team. Just because he was in over his head as a head coach doesnt mean he wasnt honorable.

Yea, it's ridiculous to claim that Weis wasn't honorable and even more ridiculous to claim that Florida will regret hiring him. He was a great family man and I was always very impressed by his commitment to his daughter, Hannah. Even though Weis did not cut it as a head coach, he was a fantastic offensive coordinator and recruiter. Florida will be playing to his strengths and he will most likely be very successful as a result. I have little doubt that the Weis/Muschamp combination is going to bring Florida right back into national championship contention.

Weis may not have done what we all wished from a whole, but he inheritted the worst recruiting classes ND had ever seen, and still accomplished what some said was impossible with the offense. There was nothing about what Weis did that would even suggest he wasn't honorable.

I met Ethan Johnson's brother the other night. He talked a lot about how much love all of CW's players still have for the guy. They are 100% committed to Coach Kelly but still adore Charlie. He was their guy.
