I was there last March for a couple of days. Did Guinness and the Jameson Distillery back-to-back.
Needless to say, it was a very inebriated day for yours truly.
Heard the Irish are in financial disarray. Perhaps we could all donate some Vbucks in exchange for Guinness?

Indeed we are, the economy is shot to hell

I was at the 1996 ND-Navy game at Croke Park in Dublin and got to meet Lou and the boys. It was incredible! Im actually from Dublin (born there and moved to the US when I was 3) and my father worked for Aer Lingus for a long time. We still have tix to fly to Ireland free on stand-by. Soooo, needless to say, I will be making the trip with my fiancee to visit family, drink in the pubs and see ND pound Navy.. While eating as many bags of Monster Munch I can get my hands on.

My fiancee and I (We are getting married this September) agreed to a "cheap" honeymoon after the wedding and save the money to go to the game in 2012.

Lucky for me, she's a huge Irish fan (her family is all from South Bend, and Dad attended ND). Found a keeper :0)

And if anyone has any cheap honeymoon ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I look forward to posting here in the future.

I was looking at the packages and I saw airport transfer in Ireland. Do these packages include airfare or no?

Thanks, I was just comeback on here to say nevermind. I received a response by email quicker than I expected. Negative on the airfare is correct but was told we would receive discount airfare. Time to find buddy passes!!

I'm sure it would be cool and blast making the trek to Ireland to check out the sites; plus catch the Irish-Navy game .... but those damn ever-increasing air fares have change my thoughts significantly.

Better save Irish money...

Better save Irish money...

Oh man I need to start saving my shillings.

A shilling will not go far in Dublin, but it would
help you in buying a pint in England...Tom
