UNC just basically got "beat" by a last-team-in (#12 seed play-in-game Clemson) and a non-tourney team (Miami). Then they got embarrassed by Duke. They haven't really beaten anyone of consequence all year besides that lone Duke win.
If you're picking a 2/15 upset.... this is the one. It's just shocking to me how much better ND is than any of the other 2 seeds but we get the hardest 7/10 matchups (Texas A&M was top ten in the country a couple weeks ago... and FSU with Singleton is a top 25 team) and a healthy Georgetown is the best #6 seed out there. Plus, Purdue is no slouch compared to BYU... but at least it isn't UConn or Syracuse.
All in all, Florida got the biggest gift of any team... and by proxy Pitt got the best bracket as a #1 seed. Kentucky and Texas both got the shaft when you consider how they match up on paper with BYU or Florida. If I was a Kentucky fan I would be completely livid.
