UNC just basically got "beat" by a last-team-in (#12 seed play-in-game Clemson) and a non-tourney team (Miami). Then they got embarrassed by Duke. They haven't really beaten anyone of consequence all year besides that lone Duke win.

If you're picking a 2/15 upset.... this is the one. It's just shocking to me how much better ND is than any of the other 2 seeds but we get the hardest 7/10 matchups (Texas A&M was top ten in the country a couple weeks ago... and FSU with Singleton is a top 25 team) and a healthy Georgetown is the best #6 seed out there. Plus, Purdue is no slouch compared to BYU... but at least it isn't UConn or Syracuse.

All in all, Florida got the biggest gift of any team... and by proxy Pitt got the best bracket as a #1 seed. Kentucky and Texas both got the shaft when you consider how they match up on paper with BYU or Florida. If I was a Kentucky fan I would be completely livid.

Richmond will knock off Vandy, Belmont will beat Wisc, and Utah St. will give K. St all they can handle.

I'm 50/50 on Ricmond/Vandy. I like Belmont, too. I like K-State to survive against Utah St. The big upset I'm looking for, other than Belmont, is Oakland over Texas. I've seen people with Texas in their Final Four, so maybe I'm crazy. I don't trust Rick Barnes in the tournament and Oakland has played some legit teams so they should not be overwhelmed.

I agree with Florida got a gift with their seeding, but I don't think they will beat Mich St. if it comes down to that.

I can def see this happening. i didn't pick it, but I can see it happening. Oakland is a really good team, with an NBA caliber player on their team. Plus the fact that Texas always chokes in the tourny.

Need some help picking your bracket? Do it blindly! I did this and with the exception of a couple games (Texas to the Elite8?) it was pretty accurate with what I picked.

I'm not sure which weekend that happens once a year I'm more excited for: NFL Draft or NCAA Tourny...It's a tough call.

And no ND football isn't a weekend and it's a whole season.

The only thing not perfect about this day is that Gus Johnson has no games today.

Lol...I like Jay Bilas and Billy Raftery. Ofcourse they aren't going to work together during the tournament, like they do for ESPN. But, Billy Raftery with Vern Lundquist are my favorite NCAA CBS broadcasters. Ian Eagle is also a good play by play guy, reping the Tri-state!

Gus Johnson is only good at end of game situations lol.

Also, Kevin Harlen is similiar to Gus Johnson. "Kobe Bryant No regard for human life!"

Check this out from ESPN...glad I didn't pick Clemson.
Clemson's first-round NCAA tournament game versus No. 5 seed West Virginia tips off Thursday at 12:15 p.m. ET in Tampa, Fla. Clemson finished its win over UAB at around midnight Tuesday night, and probably left an hour or two after that, as players and coaches finished in the locker room, talked to the media, got on the bus, and got to the airport. That means Clemson will have to turn around and play WVU less than 36 hours after flying across the country in the middle of the night.

Throw in the relatively short turnaround before the First Four -- Clemson played games Friday and Saturday in the ACC tournament -- and by 2 p.m. Thursday Brad Brownwell's Clemson team will have suited up four times and traveled 1,448 miles in the past seven days. Amateur athletic travel doesn't get much worse than that"

Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of the other announcers, they do a great job. Harlan and Bilas are great, and Vern is a great NCAA caller like you said. But I gave my heart away a long time ago.

My Clemson and ODU picks looked good in the first half, not so much in the 2nd. Penn State don't totally demoralize me.
