I don't know who I'm most excited about seeing in the game, however, I'd like to meet Alice and tell her what a great person she truly is.

1. TJ Jones - can he be a playmaker with Floyd getting doubled?
2. Prince Shembo - can he be more than just a pass rush specialist?
3. Andrew Hendrix - Hope he lives up to everyones hype and becomes a legit starter for this offense.
4. Louis Nix - Another guy that is getting a lot of hype for not being on the field. Hope it is all accurate.

On a NYT blog article which was just posted here, Kelly has a quote which at least makes one stop and think for a moment. He was asked whether there'd be a QB "controversy" or a QB "competition". After saying "competition" of course, like we knew he would, he replied:

"We come into this year with two guys who’ve won football games and a quarterback who fits the system that we recruited."

Hmmm. That probably does NOT mean that he is underrating Andrew Hendrix, [that doesn't seem at all like a Kelly way of thinking], but it sure sounds to me that he's paying a LOT of attention to Golson. With all these hints in the air, I'll be very surprised if Golson does not get FULL looks as a possible starter--- not saying he'll be up to it, but it sounds to me that he's going to get a serious shot.

I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't...but then again I thought Theo Riddick was going to take at least a year to break the starting lineup at wideout.

My prediction (not bold).

Everett Golson, will not sit the year out.

He'll either have some starts or a package he runs.

Kelly will incorporate him somehow.

Here are my 4:
1) Cierre Wood- I see him having a monster year this year, he has 1 year under his belt, and I felt that he improved each week last year.

2) Manti Te'o- He does a well job of representing ND and he is always fun to watch.

3) Andrew Hendrix- If Dayne goes down, he WILL be ND's starting QB. He just doesn't need to have a "package", he needs to be ready if Dayne does go down.

4) Aaron Lynch- Since he has committed to ND, the anticipation has been building with me to see him play.
