ESPNU 150 Watch List WR Aaron Burbridge of Michigan grew up a Michigan State fan, but he's recently become more open to being converted to the dark side. Two of his teammates, Watch List TE Devin Funchess and DE Mario Ojemudia have committed to Michigan in the last month, causing Burbridge to take a much closer look at the Wolverines.
"They're starting to (try to sell him on Michigan)," Burbridge told SpartanMag.com's Paul Day. "They didn't at first. But now they are. They're being respectful about it. They know it's my choice and I have to weigh my options and see what other schools have to offer."
Despite offers from the likes of Notre Dame and Ohio State, Burbridge has pretty much decided to stay within state lines. "It's basically Michigan and Michigan State are the only schools I'm talking to right now," he said.
Burbridge admits that he remains a Spartans fan but says of the Wolverines: "Right now I feel kind of more comfortable with the coaches than I do at State."
Working in Michigan State's favor, the coaches have talked to him about becoming a multipurpose threat along the lines of rising senior WR Keshawn Martin -- including being the Wildcat QB. But Burbridge remains torn and says he's not even sure when he might arrive at a decision.
