That's awesome. My city is a bit lacking of a place like that...

Where's your city, BB? Most of the major metro areas in Indiana have some sort of place like that. Indy has a couple. Fort Wayne has AWP, South Bend has one. Evansville does. New Albany/Jeffersonville kids have one nearby in Louisville.
Yeah. I went to college @ Indiana State in Terre Haute. Muncie and Terre Haute are two eerily similar towns. Nothing to speak of like that in Terre Haute, either. Most of the stud athletes that come out of Terre Haute go to Indy for training or just move their all-together, a la Greg Oden.
Back to Dieter, I think he's gifted enough and WR will be a position we will be looking at heavily next year. If I remember correctly, he could also potential play in the defensive backfield too, no?
I said it before and I'll say it again.
His name sounds like that of a German superhero.
Yea Muncie has plenty of natural athletes, but the city is in a rut and anyone who makes money moves out to the county so we lack in good training facilities, but have tremendous history for sports. A la Greg Oden stomping us in the state championship of basketball however long ago that was haha.
And as to Dieter playing safety, he can, but I'm not sure (and Panther could confirm or deny this) I think he'd prefer to play WR.
Muncie. I mean we have some YMCA's and a Sports Plex (which I've never been too) on the outskirts of town, but I don't think they have equipment like the powerpull or anything quite that nice.
Would rather play WR. The second question is the coaches decision...He's best at QB? Wow...your son must be a pretty dang good athlete. I can just see him slinging the ball on a trick play now that we know we can throw it. haha
It's actually almost crazy for you to say that he's best at that because he's such a talented wide receiver and athletically gifted...if he's best at QB he must be a hell of a QB! If that's what he's best at why doesn't he play that on his team?
Btw, who holds the previous record for the All-Time Indiana receiver?
I would play him there, but I am not the coachWell if he prefers playing WR to QB then you cant argue with him. Either way, he has quite the knack.
Hey Panther, I'm just curious.I havn't seen it written on here, but what is Gehrig's interest level in ND?
Dieter currently has a scholarship offer to play Division I football at Bowling Green, but his real dream is to play for Notre Dame.
"Notre Dame, just everything is great there,” Dieter said. “The tradition, the team, the new coach, everything is running smooth."
But ultimately, he'll go where he has a scholarship, and he hasn't been offered one yet by the Irish. So he's out to show them this season that he's deserving.
???
