Quinn got so beyond dicked by being sent to tanking cleveland and then tanking denver. Looks like same thing is going to happen to jimmy.

Hate to admit it but Quinn has yet to prove anything in the pros other than he's terrible. I'm not surprised.

Yeah, but how many games has he started? 8? Just ridiculous he never got a real shot.

Really your not surprised? gimme a break

Anyway, it looks like Quinn is a bust but hopefully he can turn it around and at least become a reliable backup.

I dont think that Quinn being drafted by a **** team ruined him. I would say that about Jake Plummer or David Carr but Quinn just never really showed anything.

Come on, terrible is way too strong an assessment. He has only played in 14 games. Not even a full season's worth. In those games he has 353 attempts, 10 TDs, 9 INTs, and no real chance to succeed.

Totally agree Lax. Mangini screwed him over, as well as denver. Quinn beat Pittsburgh last year. I recall when they beat buffalo on primetime and I always thought he would be a good fit in Buffalo because he seems to play better in the cold. I hope someone gives him a true shot, because I think he can be a decent NFL QB. He is getting totally hosed by the league.

as a cleveland fan and a notre dame fan, i pulled harder than most for quinn. i still don't think he got a fair shot. he showed flashes of brilliance in cleveland, but that was only when he had the talented receivers that we had when he was first drafted (now kellen winslow jr. and braylon dropwards are in TB and NY, respectively). when he played in '07 and '08 with those receivers, he looked good

but once we dropped winslow and edwards (get it? dropped? brayln edwards? dropped? heh.), he had litterally no talent to work with. he was not given a fair shot. while i don't think he necessarily has the arm strength or accuracy to be a front-line NFL starter, i think he was similar to a colt mccoy type guy who is very poised and good at managing games. when quinn was in cleveland, he did nothing to lose a game. it was usually the defense.

when he was let go, it was more because mangini thought he needed a change of scenery and we needed to go in another direction.

anyways, i hope quinn gets a better shot in the future, but on a good team with good receivers.

If the brass in here in Kansas City has any brains in their head they should put together a trade for Quinn and bring him to the Chiefs. The Chiefs need a good back up for now, and being reunited with Weis would put Quinn's career back on track. I think that given the time to develop in a secondary role, on a team that is building and not floundering, with his old mentor in place...Quinn would be good. Seriously...I could see him taking over for Cassel in a year or two and eventually getting some Pro Bowls. The Charlie factor for him would be HUGE...and given he hasn't shown much, the Chiefs could get him on the cheap.

Let's face it, Quinn has regressed and Denver wants to see what they got for their first rounder. Much rather watch Tebow fail on that ****ty team that has given up than Quinn.

WAIT a sec, I take my Steelers as serious as my Irish. Going 6/19 for 90 yds and a qb rating of 48.1 is not really BEATING Pittsburgh. Josh Cribbs and the wildcat along with that D (8 sacks) beat Pittsburgh. As much as I liked Quinn at ND, he is not an NFL starter. Sad to say, watching him over the years was like watching a slow motion train wreck.

Very reliable source with the Broncos has told me that the coaching staff loves Quinn. He works as hard as anybody, studies his tail off, tremendous leader on the team, BUT he is just too robotic and cannot execute on the field.

Hate to say it, but that's exactly what guys like Kiper and McShay were saying when he was on the draft board, resulting in his drop.

Can only hope things get better for him some way.

Nooooo....As a Broncos fan I hated when I heard that Teblows was getting the start. I do not think I can watch them ever again if they really think that he a true QB. Cubs fan Broncos fan, this sux!

Tebow just pulled a beastly 40 yard TD run on 3rd & 24. For all the haters... the kid is just a pure gamer.
