As said before...

-if UCONN wins and I'll be there in person to watch ND take on Miami in the Sun Bowl...

-if UCONN loses then ND will go to the Champs Sports Bowl vs. NC State, Maryland or FSU...

God I hope we don't play NC State.

That team is rediculous good one day, sucks the next. With our luck, we get NC St. on a day they could beat Auburn...

I'm hoping for Miami for a "big name" game or Maryland for the easy win. Maryland is a huge over-achiever this year.

NC State is definitely a worst case scenario.

Miami vs. Notre Dame in the Sun Bowl would be epic!!!

Who doesn't want this game other than for selfish, closer to home reasons?

The worst case scenario to me would be the Holiday bowl vs Oklahoma St. or Mizzou. Those 2 teams have very little national prestige and we probably don't have the fire power offensively(with Rees atleast)to keep up with them.

That scenario just doens't seem like a possibility to me at ths point. But then again, we have nothing to lose (besides prestige which was non-existent after Tulsa anyway) in playing a team like them right now...

They have a lot to lose.

But they are ranked so we'd have a lot to win and little to lose (unless we got totally blown out). A win against #15/16 to close out the season would be nice and give us wins over two ranked teams to close out the season. NC State is one of those games where if you get their best it can get ugly and kill momentum towards next year. I guess we'll just have to see how it all plays out.

So after that pick 6 it looks like UConn is going to win... and Washington is up 2 TDs.... does that mean Sun Bowl?

Too many variables right now... I'm not getting exctied about an early Catholics versus Convicts game yet.

I believe so. The only game that might have some impact would be the Washington/WSU game(not sure). From what my tiny brain can figure, it looks like the Irish will be playing in the Sun Bowl which is f-ing awesome!

Does anyone know if the Convicts are a sure thing to go to the Sun Bowl? That is really what I'm praying for.

Washington is trying their best to blow this game at Wazzu. They just fumbled at the 1 yard line up 7.
