I know B Smith has not been great this year but he has been everywhere today. Looking good on senior day

I think if we can keep them out of the endzone in the first half, they may lose interest after what happened last week.

Utah is a good program, they've won a BCS bowl game in the last few years and they want a good bowl game this year going into the PAC 12 or whatever they're going to call the conference. They're not going to roll over and die or lose interest. This isn't a high school team with no shot at the playoffs in the last game of the year.

Defense looks inspired. It helps that Utah keeps shooting themselves in the foot.

I was wondering what two Ute defenders were doing on the ground nowhere near the ball.

I know who they are and I understand their history over the past few years. I am glad you informed me that they dont play high-school football though. However, clearly (9 penalties) they are not mentally where they should be. A lot of that has to do with what took pplace last week. I also, did not say they would roll over and or die. A lot of football is mental, and mentally right now, we are winning the battle and its showing on the score board.

Why is Cierre back in the game after what Jonas just did? If Cierre can run with conviction he will be in good shape.

You said they would lose interest if "we" (who is we?) keep them out of the end zone. They're not going to lose interest. These aren't little kids--and that's what I'm saying. Most college teams, especially high level teams, don't lose interest. Especially when they're playing an inferior opponent. I'm not saying ND can't win or won't win; I'm just saying that is ridiculous to assert that Utah will lose interest.

More quick hitters like last week will help Tommy's confidence. It's tough in the rain to make solid throws down the middle of the field against a solid defense

No, it's not easy but the receivers should have the advantage if the field conditions aren't great. They know where they're going and the defenders don't. If Rees can't get a good grip on the ball he should have some advantages--especially with Floyd.

They lost interest last week when it was 14-0 so please stop talking. If you watched the game then you would understand that. Getting blown out at home with college gameday present when your a top 5 team, affects you mentally. Stop talking about little kids and highschool. I think we all understand they aren't in highschool. That was nothing to do with an emotional layover from last week. 10 penalties for 65 yards in one half? Their minds are not where they should be and if you dont realze that, then you are a fool. No team, good or bad should be that mentally absent.
