I like the speed athletes we're looking for. Miles Shuler this year and now Ronald Darby. We need 4.3 speed on the field.

ATH Darby Has Top 3

UNC, Florida, and Notre Dame make up Darby's top 3.

Admits he doesn't know a lot about Notre Dames program or head coach Brian Kelly but his head coach (Ronald Crump) does. Plans to decide before his senior season.

Kid has FREAK speed and we are recruiting him for a slot receiver and defensive back. He ran numerous 4.3's at different camps this year.

He's fast but I can't imagine the competition he plays against is very good considering the one field doesn't even have bleachers on both sides of the field! LOL

Competition doesn't have to be great for you to be fast. 4.3 speed is fast at any level. You can't teach speed and speed is certainly what this kid has and what we need. I'd like to see him as a defensive back and special teams return specialist.

You can't really teach it, but with technique it can be improved.

Does he play in a rain forest? I think it was muddy or raining on 80% of the plays in this film.

Put him on Darby Island. When's the last time we had a shutdown corner?

We REALLY need this guy, we haven't had an elite DB in ages.

While the idea of Darby Island is great, the pros are different than college in that respect. There isn't enough tape of players to do what Revis does, and you don't play the same people over and over the way Revis does. It's not just skill, there is tons of hard work involved in being a dominant corner like that.

Patomuc Maryland is in southern Md and the talent level isn't real high but that speed is unteachable

I hope we have some continued efforts with this guy. Even though it's still early he is blowing up with offers.

Sure seems like the staff wants on offense, but hey get him on campus and put him where he fits the best.

After watching his highlight tape, I love how he only plays on grass, like South Bend, and still continues to run at a different speed from everyone else.

no reason, i prefer him at DB but I was under the impression that he would be an offensive prospect.
