The worst team in divsision 1 a

Are we? Could it be true? Perhaps it is a reach but the sad thing is we are at that level where and argument could be made. I have no answers I thought Kelly would at least get a lot out of what he had here, perhaps it will all change. I seriously think we could loose to division1 AA teams right now. What to do? No clue but I sincerely hope that they don't give Kelly as long of a leash as they did Chuck. If this is another bust I guess we have to move on, to what I have no idea but at your lowest point anything would be an improvement.

I would'nt go THAT far and say ND is the worst. And yeah there are Div IAA teams that probly could beat ND. But I'm not gonna sound THAT crazy and say ND is the worst.

We are pretty damned bad right now, pretty bad. There aren't many schools now that we can say we are better than that's for sure. Sometimes you just have to really access the situation and be honest about it like for alcoholics recovering.

You know what? its friggen possible. ND has waaaay too much talent to be this bad and thats what frustrates me. ND could beat Utah and THEN lose to Army the next week. Ugh. So tired. Just so so tired of wasted talent. Its just like the Lions and Ford Field, where great talent goes to die.

It saddens me that the FCS school that I go to could probably hang with ND through 4 quarters, maybe even pull out the upset.

I think ND is an average FBS team right now. But when we play as soft and as unmotivated as we have the past few weeks we are among the worst.

Absolutely ridiculous. We're not very good at all right now but in case you haven't noticed we do have 4 wins against D1 schools. So no, an argument CANNOT be made, simply because we beat 4 teams already, and barely lost to a Mich St team that has only one loss (to a highly ranked team). Pitt and BC have beaten and/or played tightly with some good/very good teams, and we beat them. Out of 108 or whatever teams out there, we are nowhere close to being in even the bottom ten, much less the worst.

I understand the frustration/anger of all ND fans right now, but the hyperbole of some fans is simply ridiculous and childlike. You would think we'd be better than that. Again, I'm not arguing that we are good, but this thread is a joke IMO.

This one post you just made makes so much sense. You are correct in that we are a team that is capable of beating Utah only to lose to Army the next week. It seems like we play competitively against some good teams (exception to Stanford), then we play like garbage against inferior teams and we keep them in the game, only to come out with the short end of the stick. Consistency is what we need, and that will take time. I know I get frustrated and this season has definently increased my blood pressure. We aren't very good right now at all, and I would put us around 50-60 rank wise right now.

To be completely honest the recent influx of totally ridiculous threads started on this site has me weary to even check in sometimes.

I say we implement a new system that only allows people with at least a certain amount of rep points to start new threads. That way the intelligent posters on here don't have to sort through all the BS posted by a bunch of idiot new comers or trolls.
