Anyone think there may be a connection between the new strength and conditioning and the extreme rash of injuries, or do you chalk it up more to someone breaking a mirror or seven?

I chalk it up to bad luck. Someone made a deal with the devil.

Armando hip flexor = contact injury.
Dayne ruptured tendon = I think has bad joint genetics like I do.
Ian Williams = Navy.
Riddick ankle sprain = most common injury to "shifty" players.
Rudolph, Floyd hamstring = this could be conditioning... but just as easily it could be dumb bad luck

I thought it was a nice touch watching all of our best players come out on crutches..... Kind of a "Welcome to Notre Dame....Watch your Knees" type of reception.

I still don't understand why Crist didn't go out of bounds and just took that huge shot...

Watched the replay. Either he thought he had stepped out of bounds (I thought he did) and was going to be shoved out, or he had serious tunnel vision. He looked surprised when he saw the Tulsa guy come up on him. He was totally unprepared to either take or administer a blow.

It'll change. Just got to keep Atkinsosn, Hayes and Daniels on board. All of those guys are fast. Even faster than Slim Chin.

Crist is done. he should just pack his bags and gome home.

Oh yeah. No question. Crist football career is over. He wont play another down in college let alone the pro. Nobody is gonna want to take the risk on a piece of glass.

Its a shame too cuz I actually liked Dayne. I hated Clausen though.

previously unconditioned (or badly conditioned) athletes + over conditioning to get them into BK game shape = present injury situation?

it's a theory..
