Vegas seems to be having some issues with the pro bettors this week. I found the current lines versus the opening lines quite interesting in more than a few games. It says something about where people's perceptions are going:

OH BOY:
ND opened -10 and money on Tulsa has moved it to -7.5. Not a good sign.

THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN:
Texas opened -9 to Baylor and have been bet down to -7.5
Florida was a 1.5 point favorite, and are now getting 3 against Georgia - WOW!!!

NO RESPECT:
Sparty is getting 6.5 against Iowa, but only opened getting 4.5. #5 and still a dog.
Missouri has a similar story. Opened +6 and is now +8 against Nebraska - I guess the pro money is smelling a hangover.

GETTING RESPECT FROM EVERYONE BUT THE BCS:
Boise opened -35 and have moved to -38. That is still a bargain, and I expect the line to move more.
Utah opened -5 against Air Force, and that has moved to -7.

NOT MOVING, but still interesting:
OREGON -7 at USC - current and open. (Just for you NDOM) Go Ducks!

This many big games moving multiple points is not unheard of, but rare. We'll see if the money or Vegas is smarter. I'm hoping Vegas - at least on the Irish game.

Until we start playing the way we are capable of playing and start blowing away teams we should put away quickly and soundly, expect Vegas to be skeptical.
